Linde Engineering & Cryostar to Construct Geothermal Plant

Linde AG Engineering division announced to provide Turn-Key Geothermal power plant to GEOenergie Kirchweidach GmbH at Kichweidach in Germany. Under this project, Linde has signed the project deal with Cryostar to provide technology services to the company. Linde would be utilizing Cryostar SAS Supplied Organic Rankine Cycle to produce almost 38,640 MWh of electrical energy from geothermal water.  Continue reading

Air Liquide Aims For Strong Net-Growth in 2012

Year 2011 seems much more as recovery period than profit-making season. According to Jan 2012 report by Cryogas International, a reputed magazine covering Industrial gases in-depth found global recovery in 2011 has been weaker than in 2010. Airgas chief had already considered year 2012 as the most important year for the industry as per prospective growth rate.

BOC Australia Signs New ASU Construction in New Zealand

Australian continent leading Industrial Gases & Engineering Company, BOC Australia & New Zealand has bagged a long term order from New Zealand Steel Company yesterday.

Under the mutual agreement, both stand a long term supply of gases to ongoing Iron & Steel operations at Glenbrook in New Zealand. According to BOC sources, company will invest around $70 million (around EUR 56 million) in new air separation plant and associated equipment to supply products to the New Zealand air gases market. Air Products Acquires German Firm ROVI Cosemtics

A month before Air Products sold its healthcare unit to Linde Group, a Germany based company. Yesterday only it announced to acquire Schluchtern, Germany-based ROVI Cosmetics International GmbH.

Company is an established player in the development of cosmetic actives and delivery systems for the European personal care industry. Air Liquide Went to Start New ASU in Geismar US

After the acquisition cum expansion in Georgia, now Air Liquide has announced another start-up of new ASU. This new ASU will be constructed by Air Liquide Large Industries U.S LP at its facility in Geismar, La.
