Praxair India Opens R&D Centre at Bangalore

To boost the growth of Industrial Gases market in India, Praxair India has opened a new state of art Research & Technology centre at IT capital of India Bangalore. R & D infrastructure will provide broad range of research activities for Praxair India in the markets of fabrication industry, pharmacy, steel & other segments. Praxair India is wholly subsidiary of NYSE registered firm Praxair INC at US. Praxair India is the second largest industrial gases supplier in India after Linde BOC group. Praxair India head office located at Bangalore with regional 35 offices across the country. In recent years, Praxair emerged as major the Industrial Gases player in India. According to last year Annual reports, Praxair, Inc. is the largest industrial gases company in North and South America region, and one of the third largest worldwide, with 2010 sales of $10 billion.

Praxair India is known for extreme & exhausted engineering work at Tata Steel Plant at Tatanagar near Jamshedpur India. Praxair has been upgrading its market in eastern & western regions of India. Earlier to this opening, Praxair started new ASU near to Mumbai to outsource gases for western customers. With over 500 employees Praxair India serves wide-ranging industry segments including steel, refineries, petrochemicals, glass, automobile, shipbuilding and healthcare.
